sounds like a relatively good starter conversation. when the topic of relationships comes up, make sure you explicitely ask him what he is looking for. last person i was with i inadvertently led on and it got worse and worse until we cut off all contact with each other. generally, if i'm going to get with someone, i like to go on at least 3 or 4 dates before anything sexaul happens, that way i have a valid enough opinion of them before i choose to (or not for that matter) to get physically involved with them. |
This is a great strategy. My guy proposed that we'd wait at least 3 days together before we were intimate. It helps you bond with the other person based off of personality first, body second. You don't want your reltionship revolved around sex (or do you?).

3 days? Seriously? Would that really be enough time?

When you're around them 24 hours a day, yes.
Edit: For clarification, it wasn't 3 days after we just met. It was 3 days after we first met in person.

Oh, ok. haha.
You know, I think talking to somebody online before you meet them really does a lot to strengthen a relationship. You really aren't just hit in the face with how they look or sound and things like that. The only thing you have to base your opinion on them is what actually counts, and that is their personality. Plus it makes meeting in person for the first time that much more exciting.
