Since it's someone from fave developers who also happen to be a SONY first party, I believe it.
I've actually been hoping this feature would come soon. There are times when I just want to sit back and play VC [and now Demon's Souls] but some friends want to talk to me. Pausing the game to talk [or in Demon's Souls case, finding a safe spot] is kinda annoying. Same for killzone in a way since you can't talk during the load screens and only online. Would make setting up games alot easier as apposed to text chat.
