Based on the Metroid Prime trilogy mention, it could just be a game launching soon after it is announced. Or it could be a major game in the "play on Wii" series like Mario Sunshine or Wind Waker. Some filler for early 2010.

IT COULD BE OLD SUPER MARIO ALL-STARS. SMB, SMB:LL, SMB2USA, SMB3, and SMW in the NSMBW engine. And SM64 in the Galaxy engine. CONFIRMED.
