It's very clear that since the PS3 Slim/price drop the PS3 has been on fire. 2010 will be no exception.
We have returned to the days of the PS2. I truly believe that the PlayStation 3 has always been the best system this gen. It took Sony awhile to bring it to the mass market appeal that it has now, but it has it now.
In 2010 Sony will have all their major franchise on the PS3 that assisted in making the PS2 such a great diverse platform.
God of War III, Gran Turismo 5 and Final Fantasy XIII/XIV Online will put the PS3 on par the surpass the 360 next year.
I'm not going to put a prediction on when just yet, but it will happen next year. Sony has to much going for it. Once they surpass the 360 Sony will have the hardcore presence. They will then be able to focus more on Nintendo. The gen is far from over. Sony has just begun to really fight.
