Undercover was compared too much to Most wanted i think. (could have affcted it's scores, and like this i thought the A.I. was a little dirty in undercover).
As for shift............. i don't think the game knows what it wants to be, it plays like CRAPPIER versions of all the games that i think it's trying to be.... (Namely Grid, PGR and Forza)
The drivings ok at times....... but other times the car loses control for no apparent reason (even without the TERRIBLE A.I. ripping you off)
I don't know what game the reviewers were playing, but for me EA handed out a few cheques on this one.

We tend to sing the praises of roughly the same games.
I wish i would have only rented Shift now too
(£35 it cost me)
Or better still not started on it at all........ (Damn you achievement hunting, got points early for this garbage and was stuck with it)
