2010 is perfectly plausible. Nintendo loves their 5 year lifecycles, which held true for SNES-N64, N64-GC, GC-Wii, and GBA-DS transitions. Actually, fall/winter of 2010 would put the DS at a 6 year lifecycle (for the US at least). I wouldn't be surprised if they continue to sell the DSi for $99-129 by the time the new DS2 launches though.
