You're right. But I also know that if I didn't have a 360 and sat around wanting Gears of War to come to PS3, I'd be looking ridiculous. I understand people's money is tight, but if there's a console that doesn't have a game/franchise that another console has, people have to do as they've ALWAYS had to in that scenario, go without the game/franchise. This idea that "multiplatting" ANY game is better for the industry is a fallacy IMO. There'd be no point for multiple consoles if every game went multi. I'm glad that there are 3rd party companies who realize this, and keep their games/franchises exclusive: (Epic, Quantic Dream, Bioware) etc, etc...

But what is the point of multiple consoles really? Does it bring any value other than competition (which decreases prices)?
