Sigh, why does a thread about a PSP game gets attacked so much? Do people really thought that a Portable PSP experience would sell as the full console release? Even one of the biggest console franchises, Mario, do poorly on portable consoles.
The best selling mario game sold more than 40M, but it's portable iteration on the GBA, only sold 2.25M and it's first week was 70K in japan only, so in a sense the first GT on a portable console sold even better than it, Japan only. When you put into persepective that the GBA was the second portable console for nintendo and the PSP is the first sony portable console, those numbers have some real expression.
Yes, this is a reply to all the crazyness thrown around in this thread, because if people are going to start throwing sales numbers without even researching properly for them, then all their points are moot.
