Well since those games you've listed (Ninja Gaiden, Brutal Legend, Bayonetta) are very similar to Devil May Cry 4 (which is in my humble opinion better) I'd suggest you that, it's also discounted unlike these new titles. Also look out for Dante's Inferno and the God of (this genre) War III.
My favourite genre on PS3 is third preson action, so I can suggest you Metal Gear Solid 4 (my favourite game of all times), Uncharted 1 + 2 (at first U1 was like above average experience, but in the end it graped me by the balls and I've enjoyed that ride to the fullest, now I'm waiting for U2), GTA4, Assasin's Creed (it was a little monotone, but the artistic design is very dear to me) and iNfamous (great fun, you just have to fool around and play with superpowers).
