Anyway, I can only speak for myself, and I wasn't attacking your (WRONG) opinion of the game, merely your comment that it had no replay value. While it is, of course, subjective, it was two people of differing opinions having a debate, ie THE INTERNET.

Most people were just asking dsister for justification. I see no problem with that. Ideally, the people who gave it 9+ should all have justified, but you know as well as I do that a controversial opinion requires more justification than a taboo one. You could say Hitler was evil and leave it at that, but if you said Hitler was a great man, you'd have to justify like hell to avoid being sent to prison.

One good thing that came out of this is that you don't talk in that god damned third person mode any more.

The J man hopes you do realize that the only thing that disproves an opinion is a fact and since there was none of that the J man's opinion is still valid.

The problem with this thread is that in the past game threads people werent interrogated and attacked for giving below 5 scores with no justification..take the halo 3 one...slimebeast was accusing everyone who gave halo 3 below a certain number(forget which one) a fanboy and as such EVERYONE, including me, told him to shut up....now dessmond does the same thing accusing me for giving a justified score to feed my bias...... guess which one gets flamed and which one doesnt.

EDIT: And if you can also explain why the J man had to justify his score for as long as he did + say whether or not he has a ps3/how he played uncharted then by all means do as well.

Oh god no, not the third person! Now we have to criticise your opinion of BioShock! Your score was far too low, and you didn't appreciate BioShock's artistic merit! (What did you give it, anyway?)

Anyway, yes, your opinion is valid, like all (most) opinions. It's just controversial.

Giving a game under a 5 is extreme. I am usually willing to accept opinions, but giving a 3 to CoD4 is just stupid. There are not enough bad points in the game for it to be below even a 6 for somebody who despises FPS. It's especially bad when you write one line to justify it: if you really hated the game enough to give it a 3/10 (I can't think of any games I hate that much, okay, maybe one or two, but they are shit, like Capitalism II), you can describe what was so infuriatingly and offensively terrible about it, right?

As for why you have to justify your opinion, once again, it is a controversial opinion. It is rare for somebody to think of Uncharted as average. If you do the same for Gears, or Zelda, you will get similar amounts of backlash. Most people assume you do not have a PS3, because you've never said anything to make people think you do. Just send them a link to your PSN profile if they don't believe you. Trolling is rampant on the internet, you are known for being a 360 fan; 360 fan + PS3 exclusive + low score = TROLLING in most people's minds. If I were to give Uncharted a 7.5, do you think there would have been nearly that much backlash? Of course not, because I am known for being a Sony fan, and while I wouldn't do that for any game on any console, I certainly wouldn't do it for a PS3 exclusive.

First off...I already explained my bioshock score...I shouldnt have to do it again.

Secondly I justified why I scored the game the way I did and 7.5/10 isnt even a bad score...Uncharted has a meta of 88, I gave it a 75(with justification) which makes the difference 13.....people were giving it a score of 100(with no justification) , which is a difference of 12. Giving uncharted a 7.5 is basically  just as controversial as giving it a 10 so why was I the only one being questioned?

That is some double standard  BS right there.
