You know it's a noble idea telling people to do the real thing, but how many people actually put down the game controller and are outside playing real sports? Often enough the same people that say get real excersize are playing virtual sports.

Theres also numerous psychological reasons why many fat people don't go out. Some are very embarrassed about their big round blubbering bellies and don't want to be seen jogging or power walking. When your fat losing weight is not easy. The physics comment that bodies in motion stay in motion and bodies at rest stay at rest is also very apt to people. There is a serious hurdle hump to get over and get moving.

I myself am a tubbo. When I did activities that interested me I kept it up. Interest is key at getting over that hurdle. Straight forward exercise will fail all time. Heck I was 20lbs over the WiiFit board which stopped me from using it. I started doing the walking/jogging WiiFit exersice with my family. Then I started doing that nightly for about an hour. After about a month I was seeing some really cool sights in the game. I made it up a part of the moutain. It was fun. I was also starting to out pace my kids :P Then unfortunely I had a work related injury with my foot about 9 months ago. It's in remission now, but I can't stand for long periods of time or place constant impact on my heal anymore at least for a few more months. But oddly enough just jogging in a game where I could see some nice sights was enjoyable.

So seeing this device is cool and would be awesome. I can't see but fail. How much is that bike going to cost? What incentive is there for me to lift weights. I enjoyed the dance step(done with a phone book, but didn't trigger the scoring system) and jogging to see the sights. I see the biking as awesome, but too expensive and likely not going to carry my weight. If I was skinneir and had a bike I would ride that more often. I could probably buy a bike for that cost.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
