Meh. The general decline in physical sales has been a long time coming. This will happen to the game industry eventually aswell. Luckily hollywood has the box office (which has been very resilient during the crash) and other distribution methods such as television and merchandise.
They will adapt, they survived television and they will survive this.
If this leads to an increased emphasis on profitability at the box office and less ridiculous pay checks to actors all the better.
