Well demand for the Wii is effectively dropping ,as it is show by the march data ....259K consoles sold is a big drop from the data of january and february .In my country the Wii has been easily available since at least 2 months .You go to a shop and there you have it ,at least 5-7 Wiis there . Still ,Kwaad ,I think your argument is a bit flawed .It is a bit on the vein of the "PS3 are already available in stores so everyone that wants one has already one !So it wont sell anything more !" .If that was the case the X360 would have dropped its sales dramatically once it had normalized its stock ,and the same with all the other consoles . I think Wii has to find its sales ground .Usually Nintendo consoles wipe out the first 6 months and then start to lose some ground .THe Wii has dropped its numbers the two last months in NA (and somewhat in Japan as well ) ,maybe it will stabilize at 250-260K units maybe it will drop further .The PS3 on the other hand seems to have stabilized around the 130K number ,and in Japan it is living a unusual situation due to the extreme software drought so its numbers arent very "real " ...most people interested in buying one because future games arent any pressed to buy one ,they wait until those games are out to purchase the machine .In any case it is difficult right now to make comparisions ....to do that we should wait until the PS3 has a solid software support in Japan and the Wii is currently available in NA .
