I don't really have any "intended lists" plan. I make threads when I feel like doing some statistics, so it all depends on when I feel like it, really. I've done the biggest publishers on Wii and overall so far, I might do Ps3/X360 and DS too.
I could also do a biggest publishers for the year of 2009, but that would be a tad more difficult to make for the non-top10. I'll just put the top 10 here instead.
The percentages for 2009 aren't fully as impressive for Nintendo:
Nintendo: 22.3%
EA: 10.7%
Activision-Blizzard: 9.15%
Ubisoft: 6.4%
THQ: 5%
Capcom: 4%
Sony: 3.8%
SEGA: 3.6%
Square Enix: 3.2%
So the top 12 have just around 75% of the sales for 2009. This number should get lower as the years go by, at least that's what happened in the 6th gen.
