Here is the octopus boss in 3DDGH followed by the one in Alex Kidd.

 

Plus we all know about Zelda.

We all know about Mario with a pi... err... Spelunker.

 

Now try to stop, think for a moment and try to find what other games this parodies instead of just assuming it is Zelda and Zelda alone.
