The 360 is now dead last every week, even in its own territory.

People thinking PS3 is not taking over are the same people who bought a HDDVD drive for their 360 believing it was the future.

Actually, PS3 Slim sales are quite disappointing if Pachters NPD predictions are correct. After so much hype it will barely top the 360. Thats with free Blu Ray, free wi-fi, and free online compared to 360, and no RROD. What else could Sony do?

And that's Slim's first month. It can only fall from here most likely. Will it even win October? November? December? I'll bet that it wont.

And I'll tell you another thing, Microsoft is gradually training people that 360 should cost the same as PS3. PS3 and 360 with 120GB hard drive cost exactly the same. Yet 360 is not drowning. I mean to me, that's amazing. 360 is supposed to cost way less than PS3 in order to sell. Soon people will just expect that 360 and PS3 are the same price, and 360 will still win.

Time will tell, but i remembered the PS3 will sell like HOTCKAES chant with a price cut...not so much in NA, and even in PAL...I remember when 360 use to get outsold by a much larger margin.  Minus Japan, the PS3 Slim isn't really able to catch the 360...and people keeping overlooking a glaring point of what it took sony to GET o this point...namely a redesign console.  To treat the situation as if it's a static one, with M$ and Nintendo having no response is riddiculous.  M$ still has to launch a 45nm chipset, and still has Natal to launch, so the question is how close can Sony get, before M$ drops the price, and launches a possible game changer, other than the eventual price chop to $249 and $179.
