Can't say I had sound issues, in fact the sounds were quite beautiful (for metal :P) dunno though my surround sound isn't hooked up at the moment so I can't say how great the quality is when you have it on a nice sound system but for a normal TV its great.

I played it on 5.1 surround, and I felt the general sound quality was quite bad. I might have to go back and replay it to be sure, but it was pretty weird.

I played it on 360 not sure which system you played it on but I'm about to play the PS3 version and see if the experience is different.
