im confused doesnt the ps3 already have facebook?

The PS3 can do most things because of the web browser but it's just not fully integrated and part of it the way things like Netflix, Facebook, last.fm, and Twitter are.  I *believe* you can set it to automatically update things like Facebook with what you're playing or watching which I guess is cool for some people.

Also, I don't know if other people have had the same luck I have, but I usually have problems with the PS3 browser crashing or just running out of memory so I rarely use it.

I know what you  mean, it used to happen to me but they updated it and tweaked it around, now its perfectly fine (ofcourse I have a new slim, maybe the extra HDD space has something to do with it..)
