I never thought that blu-ray wouldn't increase significantly.
However, it will have to share the stage which sets it apart from dominating formats like cds, dvds and vhs. Blu-ray will be the cassette of our generation. For a long time cassettes were sold alongside records and cd's. It was reasonably successful but never truly dominated sales.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
