Aaw, poor FFVIII. My little FF confession.....VIII is my favorite. I'm sorry but it's true, I'm not just saying it was good, I'm saying for me it was the best. I've beaten VIII more than any other Final Fantasy. I never played 11 (MMORPG just not my bag) and I never beat XII (bored me out of my mind). But I've played VIII to completion at least 3 maybe 4 times (completion being aquiring all GFs, best weapons, magic, limit breaks, ect), and beat it without all the extras probably another 3 times.
I liked Squall, alot. His supporting cast I found memorable and fun. I liked the draw system, and loved the junction system. Triple Triad was freaking awesome, they need to put that on Wiiware for download with online play and I would be there in a heartbeat, screw Eye of Judgement, give me triple triad. The story was alright, but again I loved the cast. The music, the setting, the art style, seeD, the gardens ect. I just loved it. When I was a teenager playing it for the first time I wanted to be in a mercenary school with a bunch of hot platonic female friends that wanted me that I could ignore and be all angsty towards. That game story was an angsty teens dream. I beat it again for the sixth time about six months ago. I love me some FFVIII.
