Fable as a series has always been divisive. There has always been (largely due to disdain directed at Molyneux for his foolishness in promoting the first game I believe) a section of the gaming community that will simply never allow themselves to like a Fable game.
That said, the aggregate of reviews currently rates Fable 2 as a better game than Uncharted, so let's see if Molyneux can use his first same-platform sequel to make a truly universaly appreciated game.
But it is that line of thinking that makes me think anything under a million as an opener for Uncharted 2 will be underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, it won't flop by any stretch of the imagination, but it will nonetheless be a higher rated game, launching at the same time of the year, with much more hype, on a larger userbase.
