yeah if sales doubled, it means there was some buyers that were deterred by it.
Heck i'd buy a PS3 in an instant if it was only 10$, so price is always an issue.
But as said up there, if they had had a better lineup in the past 18 months, then yeah, sales might have kept strong longer. That's only due to the weak 3rd party offering though.
