Yes, there is no for sure definitive FPS on Wii so far. Your closest bet is probably The Conduit, which i'm dissapointed in because there is no local multiplayer which I believe should come standard in every FPS game. Red Steel? Never played it but I am interested in the stylized sequel.
The Grinder might be the best FPS on Wii. Forget COD Reflex. COD Relex is a port of the first game. Do you see what Activision is doing to us Wii owners? They are treating PS3 and 360 owners with a brand new game and porting us a two year old game.
And you say Retro said they are thinking about making a Metroid FPS. No as for now Tecmo is working on Metroid. Retro did say they would like to continue the Prime series in the future though. As for now, they are working on a brand new game.
