The same happenend with it predecessor on the PS2. It seems that this type of game has not many fans.

It's vanillaware. They never make more than one or two print runs of copies then just stop.

Similar to Suikoden series and Cing developed games. Odin Sphere was a spiritual follow up to a Saturn game called Princess Crown.
