When did graphics become such an overwheling relevance to a video game? I guess I'm the only one who first saw the trailer at E3 and thought "Man that looks fun!" I also thought it ran very smoothly, I'd take 60fps over 1080p any day of the week.

I couldn't believe this thread turned into a discussion about graphics.

Why not? Its the only argument most of them have, as usual.

Honestly, what else are people going to talk about?  It's a video, a good part of it is graphics since they don't have the game in their hands.  I guess they could also talk about sound.

The videos showed gameplay as well. We could be discussing that.

You'd prefer people just say "doesn't look fun"?  That seems alot more subjective.  Atleast you can fight the graphics debate with logic and argument.

I'd prefer you stop thinking of the gameplay shown in such one-dimensional terms.

We could ask things like "Does the copter work more like the cape or racoon tail?" "What about the cape and cowl outfit (at least it looks like that)?" "Are those smaller flags checkpoints or something else?" "How the hell does holding another player over your head work?" And that's just from the first 40 seconds.

Did you even pay attention to those parts?

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
