i'm talking about thier brainstorming phase. they just made dozens of hastily proto-types (each made in just a few days) each with wildly different control types, concepts, ect. and then went with whatever the communnity liked the best (this was how world of goo was born lol)
that way, you could get the community involved and work your programmers to death in the process :b.
