It will happen by 2011, the gap between ps3 and 360 by end of 2009 will be around 5 million, then in 2010 blu-ray will really pick up in sales, also all movies are in 3D now in theatres (atleast in North America) so blu-ray will really help ps3 in 2010 and 2011, the ps3 wand is already getting more support then Natal with RE5, LBP, etc etc.
