It may be in competition over the developers, but I don't think that when someone buys a gaming device, he thinks about handhelds and consoles as having the same purpose.
And since this thread is about console sells, this is the type of competition that's relevent.
Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.
