I won't touch SuperStreetFighterIV until I can win with someone besides Ken

Listen, I get that I'm not great at the game but I was good enough to breeze through the hardest difficulty and get through a lot of the training with El Fuerte.  Yeah, I didn't get though all of it but I'm had a good enough grasp on the game to be better than not very good.

And I only picked Ken because he was one of the Ryu clones and only three letters and couldn't fit more than that in the thread title.  I realize I could have just put Ryu, but I didn't want to because I just hate Ken.  I've hated him since playing the game on the SNES so I take any chance to hate on him I can.

I don't get why people are so thick headed that they can't accept that a game is incredibly unbalanced even when Capcom themselves say it's unbalanced and if someone isn't perfect at it, they must suck.

@WoW-- I just like the speed of the game, not too fast, not too slow.

I didn't say you're not very good at SF4, I said you're not very good with El Fuerte.  Even with the imbalance in the roster play skill (especially with a given character) is still far, far more important.  Tiers really only matter if you're playing someone on the same skill level as you and even then their effect is quite minor.  Top players win with "bad" characters all the time simply because they learn to play the with great skill and tier-whores don't learn to play against them that well. And don't forget, when Capcom said the game was imbalanced they also said SETH was too powerful, a guy who is as middling as Ken, so they don't even know what the hell they're talking about.  They just listen to complainers too much.

Also, Rufus and Zangief are good (and Balrog, who was already mentioned), while Blanka, Chun-li, and Bison are all decent.  Just because the one guy you want to play isn't competitive doesn't mean the game is absolutely terrible.
