Because of how overrated it is.
The single player has absolutely no merit, as is the case with every shooter Epic produces. You just go from location to location shooting stuff. That is all there is to it. No puzzles, no dialogue, no real story. Just pure crap.
And the multiplayer I hate equally, if not more so. I hate the idea of round-based gameplay, and also believe the levels are very poorly designed, with little to no divergence between the gameplay experience each one delivers.
I just hate it. The game starts. Everyone runs to the same point on the map, has a shoot off, some live, some die. It's the same game every single round. Just bored me to death. |
You just described IDSoftware... and well, pretty much every PC FPS developer with the exception of Tom Clancy, the Looking Glass/Irrational games, and Valve.
