As for the $50 rebate, I don't think it was heavily advertised. I didn't see it anywhere other than on MS's site.

It was on T.V. plenty here in the US.

As for ODST, I believe it was also responsible for the spike in sales this week. I told people it WOULD be a system seller, just not a large one.

Maybe I don't watch enough tv, but I saw zilch about it.

 

Also, to be a stickler, it wasn't a full week of the rebate.  It started on the 22nd.
