There's not just one reason why people think there's not enough good games for PSP. One reason is that if you compare games between DS and PSP, you'll find out that DS has better variation between its games and DS has more games that fit better in the handheld console gaming. PSP have more ports from home consoles than DS, and these games you prefer playing with your PS2. And people see games with certain franchise as same game (well, thinking of most sequels/spinoffs, can't really blame them). PSP have quite a lot games, what fit better playing with home consoles. At the moment only Locoroco and Exit comes to mind, that would be "perfect" games for handhelds, that are on PSP. And DS has a dozen "Locorocos and Exits". I think biggest problem is that PSP has games biased too much on one type of gaming. Just like the 360 has, 100 FPS's and Viva Pinata.
