I don't think they ever inteded Wii to be a 10 year console like Sony and MS are talking. 1a and 1b could be the other way around, but in the end it will be indistinguishable who sold more. This is the 10year plan reference?
1a Wii
1b Wii+(whatever name it will be)
2a MS
2b Sony
No offense but in the 10 year plan the next Wii iteration will by the end of the PS360(assuming 10y) cycle have made the same amount if not more. So by that figure and with just some made up numbers based on current amounts(assuming Wii stopped selling). The PS3 hits 50m, The Wii+ hits 50m. that's two consoles for Nintendo to hit the same amount in the same time period. How does that put Sony ahead? when in the same period time Nintendo ends up selling twice the amount?
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
