I love that story since I also grew up on NES and SNES! And I´m happy that Nintendo won you back.
Yes DS is a truly great console that has performed spectacular. The day it becomes the best selling system of all time (beating PS2) I will celebrate by playing DS all day.
In my opinion this could be Nintendos best generation ever. My previous favorite was the SNES era but DS+WII and all those great games for the systems may overtake it.
