I think everyone should know this, but Homebrewing is not when you illegally pay for games, that's pirating. Homebrew isn't illegal, but it does void the warranty. The reason Nintendo wants to uproot hackers is because it leads to illegal pirating. They don't want people to stoop so low.
That isn't the problem though. The problem is that the update is so buggy that it can brick the Wii even if it isn't Homebrewed. (BTW, this is aimed at earlier posts)
This is the true definition of owning.
