This is a great thread. I've noticed in the last week since I started posting articles and can now see where referal for articles are coming from, having articles posted on Digg, reddit and N4G.com really helps the number of views a game is getting. There are also even more ways people can help promote the articles, for example, last week I posted an article about Sonic the Hedgehog and somebody posted a link to the article on Sega's official Sonic forums. That link got the article about 60 views out of ~1300 which is really good. Plus that gives a chance for people who would not normall check out VGChartz to give it a look.
But if people would help promote our articles using Digg, N4G, and reddit I think the average number of views the articles could get could really grow. So I'm going to start posting links to recent VGChartz exclusive articles, and put the number of Diggs, reddit rating and a link to the N4G on a daily basis, so if you are in the mood to help promote articles people will be able to see which ones need help. If you see an article that I missed or has been posted since I updated, go ahead and post it in here yourself please. I'm not probably not going to usually add the information for when new pics of games, or press release are added because that would be very time consuming on a daily basis, but if other people want to add that informaiton it would be great. If you don't have a Digg or reddit account it only takes a few seconds to sign up. To be able to contribute at N4G you have to pass a test, but it is not hard and links there help a lot.

If you have a digg or reddit account all you have to do is go to the article and click on the boxes in the article. It only takes a few seconds and is a big help. Also, please post with information on new articles, new ideas of how to promote, or even if you just want to brag that you just helped, so that more people will see this thread.
