This is where adistinctive difference in buying a console instead of games comes in. The computer mouse was shunned for years too. Usually the senior citizens have problems adjusting and liking new tricks, but the gaming world seems to turn 15 to 25 year olds in to senior citizens who can't be taught new tricks.
Numbers: Checker Players > Halo Players
Checkers Age and replayability > Halo Age and replayability
Therefore, Checkers > Halo
So, Checkers is a better game than Halo.
