I think people are just beginning to realize that while the Wii was supposed to promise SO MUCH FUN with it's new controller scheme, it didn't turn out to be as big of a deal as many hoped it would be.

Many people find the Wii controls slapped-on or not very well implemented. It seems that only mainly first party games can capture Wii controls well. I think people are bummed out that their machine is best for only playing Nintendo games and not much more, missing out on a lot of great exclusives on the other systems

I think Capcom will soon join the ranks of handling a Wii-mote very well.

RE4:Wii felt very comfortable and natural, and the upcoming Umbrella Chronicles looks to possibly revitalize an old arcade-shooter feel with a newer aspect: movie theatrics.

Exclusives mean you have to buy the console - this seems like a redundant and moot point, as the phrase "I think people are bummed out that their machine is best for only playing Nintendo games....great exclusives..." seems like such a given it's not even worth mentioning.

It's simply down to ('simple' meaning leaving out a lot of detail, but not really all that much detail) who wants to have Halo, who wants to have Nintendo, and who wants....  wants....  whatever else Sony shines with.   Anything else will be similar or like other games already out.

Numbers: Checker Players > Halo Players

Checkers Age and replayability > Halo Age and replayability

Therefore, Checkers > Halo

So, Checkers is a better game than Halo.
