Most gay guys have a preference. It's commonly refered as being a top or a bottom. Someone who likes both positions is called versatile.

Since we're on the topic anyway. What's a "power" position? Like, I've heard of power tops and bottoms. Forgive my ignorance but I can't exactly look it up on google without being linked to bad sites :(

I can't say for sure but I'm guessing it refers to the person in control.
