I think it was more that people weren't familiar with the game, playing is believing, and not many people got their hands on Okami and got to try it out, Zelda is a known commodity, Okami not so much, companies should take some of that marketing money, and just drive around in trucks showing of their games, putting controllers into the hands of people.
