It was mostly the cfg tweak, and keeping the GPU fan running 100%. It certainly was worth it. Played the whole game with those settings. *Drools*
EDIT: http://www.gamecritics.com/the-noobs-guide-to-optimizing-crysis is the guide to tweaking the config, use it, and get ready to have your face blown away by your PC (Nice rig there, BTW).
