I have children, and there's one remedy for this - go to your local Home Depot®, buy a blow torch, head home, place said console in driveway, place safety goggles atop face, page son to driveway - ignite torch and apply liberally to said console.
If he disrespects over a toy, I destroy it right in front of them. Trust me - it works ...
