for the final boss on the thousand year door, it's a huge step up in difficulty from anything else in the game (other than the secret side quest boss, NOT TELLING!), so you'll really need to come prepared. i suggest if you still want to beat it. to backtrack out of the last dungeon into rougeport, and try to buy more of the helpful items, like the 50 hp/fp items (forgot thier names) also, if you can only carry 10 items, you can get to level 50 of the pit of a hundred trials to get a bag that doubles your carrying compacity. if you've never seen it, it's to the right of the entence to the last dungeon i think. by the time you get back to the final boss, you'll also be a few levels higher form all the fighting you just done.
if you really wanna go through all that, it'll take you a few hours.
