Everybody on this site said to send the Wii to Nintendo for they could fix it. But my wii # couldn't be found. I was thinking about getting a new wii but before I did I wanted to try it some more. After the 5th time it finally knew my number! Now my wii will be fixed free of charge due to a warrenty I somehow have!!!!!
