When I first showed my bro a vid of littlebigplanet, he thought I was insane. He thought he would never enjoy such a kiddy game. I convinced him to give it a shot. Ladies and gentlement, I've played LBP for about 50 hours total time atleast... He's clocked in more hours than me....

He thought Tekken was lame and one of the slowest and most boring fighters around. Downloaded Tekken5 Online, game shared. Week later, he gave me a pretty hard time online.

I showed him flower and he thought I had lost it. I downloaded. We game shared. He loved it. He thought flow was just stupid. We ended up beating that game together and enjoying it.

He thought the PS3 was an overpriced piece of shit with no good games. Never talked or shown any interest in FPS's. He came over one day... and after about 3 hours of cod4 he couldn't leave. There were days when he would stay over all day long. I remember him coming over around 12 during the day and he didn't stop playing till around 4 am the next morning. a month or two later... Well... He now owns a PS3, and he got it b4 the Wii that he always said would simply be the smarter choice for him hands down no questions asked. He's clocked in more online hours in KZ2, CoD4, CoD:WaW, MGO [HE DOESN"T EVEN OWN THIS GAME!!! HE WAS BORING MINE] and SOCOM than me. This was a guy who in the past was purely into JRPG's, 2d fighters and pretty much anything that's really loved in japan and not really cared for much in the US these days.

He currently thinks that HeavyRain is a waste of money, EyePet is stupid and Demon's Souls is just a sad excuse for a game.

My point is, don't knock a game until you really give it a chance. It's understandable if you wouldn't want to take the risk though. Games are expensive these days.
