Microsoft announced near 1 million copies of Halo 3: ODST

I got halo 3 last night.. and my first xbox360. (Elite bundle with halo 3.) anyway I love it. That being said, my ebgames had about 80 copies of odst and a few returned copies, I Was pretty shocked. Do I lose anything by getting a used copy?
