As for saving our ass twice, it was the other way around, thanks to Münich Agreement (which was your fault as our ally, same for france) we've been anected by germany during early WW2. The only help came from the people that fled the country to fight in your RAF, as you may find in pretty much every book or report from these days, Czech fighter pilots were the best.
