Advance apologies for using harsh words in my very first post here but one must be INSANE to buy a PSPGo. It's RETARDED to believe that the PSPGo, lacking the UMD drive is someone a plus or an improvement.
Let me explain:
- You can easily add 16 GB or maybe 64 GB to your existing PSP-3000, just buy a card. My kids' have 8GB at this time but they can be easily upgraded.
- If you download your games you will NEVER be able to sell them as 'used' or at all.
- If you download your games you will NEVER be able to lend them to a friend.
- You won't be able to borrow games from a friend.
- You won't be able to play any of the games you already have on UMDs.
Sony should NOT be encouraged to eliminate the ability of purchasing games on physical media. Buy 3000's and let Sony know why.
The PSPGo deserves to go away.

1. I agree, but 64GB MSPD are freaking expensive.
2. who cares?
3. Sony allows up to 5 shares with friends...
4. see #3
5. This is because of publishers like EA and Avtivision not wanting you to not have to rebuy your games.
I prefer digital media, its cheapers, takes up less space, easier to deal with and manage.
@Oxy - while users "lose" out on game sales (not really), digital media will eventauly become cheaper because publishers wont have to pay for distribution and packaging costs.
The thing is retailers won't sell the PSP Go if UMD versions of games are $40 and DD games are $20 at launch. So realistically its retailers like WalMart which is to blame for any prices being the same price as their UMD counter parts. This is why GameStop refuses to sell any games which are apart of Steam, like Half-Life.

The problem is not retail outlets. It's a non competitive nature in DD for the PSP. Want to know why Target might put a game on sale? It's so you don't shop at Walmart. Want to know why Steam puts a game on sale? So you don't shop at Direct 2 Drive. Want to know why there won't be as nice an atmophere for PSP titles on the PSN? That's the only place you can buy your game at. No need to blame Gamestop sir.

You would be shock in learning i put my PSP titles at walmart at a sale price to just get rid of them out of my back room. Same with Target. It is not always because of competition that retailers or DD services lower prices to compete. Sony's reason to put a game on sale is its a limited time sale offer. Anything else is held up by B&M stores.
And why not blame GameStop? they absolutely hate digital distribution because they cannot make massive profits off used games because there is no phyiscal copies. This is why you wont see any games from Valve or StarDock, let alone PC games anymore, because GameStop cannot sell them used because either they are connected to a service that renders them useless or the game is tied to a license that can only be used once. I'm actually shocked they haven't tried to make Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo to shut down the XBL Marketplace, PS Store, and WW/VC services.
