I say if you post just one line of text, and your sig stretches your post past what it would be with just the avatar etc...then it is too long....I think mine might just overstep my own rule a tad, but 1) it's a poem, it shouldn't be forced into fewer lines that it is meant to be, and 2) i am going to change it to something else Douglas Adamsy soon anyway.
