I know. It's not as though other Olympic games were known for great gameplay, so throwing in a mode based on a series that does have it is supposed to be bad?
I wonder if they are actually thinking about the logic of that or are just being kneejerk.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
